Who Is Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
